PLENAR/INVITED TALKS

- given at 60 International conferences

Activities:
Solid state physics, research on electronic structure of intermetallic compounds of rare earths by means of X-ray spectroscopy (XPS-x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, XES-x-ray emission spectroscopy, BIS- Bremstrahlung isochromat spectroscopy, XANES and others), research on specific heat and electric and heat transport, and magnetic properties of metals and of alloys with admixture of rare earths, which manifests fluctuant valency, Kondo effect and heavy fermion properties. As an experimentalist working in the area of condensed matter physics, I am interested in strongly correlated electron phenomena in novel   d-   and   f‑electron materials, and quantum phase transitions (quantum critical point). These phenomena include superconductivity, magnetism, and effects arising from their interplay, heavy fermion behavior, and non-Fermi liquid behavior. I am especially interested in unconventional superconductivity that results from an atomic disorder.
